Southport Wreckers offers a Guaranteed 30-Day (Minimum) Swap over Policy on ALL Engines sold on eBay. Some of the specifics are as follows:

• Warranty Covers the Engine only. We do not accept any liability for accumulated labour or time expenses.
• When a product is found to be faulty, Southport Wreckers will send out a Swap-car Part when applicable.
• As a rule of thumb, we will always try and push for a Swap-over Engine to be sent before ANY refund Given.
• All Swap-over items will be sent with Express Australia post expect for certain situations and locations.
• All Engines are sent out with identifiable markings and scribing’s, and, when our items are tampered with, this may void your return rights. In the event that you attempt to a return a part that is not hours, we will request for eBay to do a formal investigation.
• Please Contact us first before returning an Engine

Southport Wreckers prides itself on offering above average shipping execution, posting 65 % of its Engine Orders within the first 3 Days after receiving an order! 

• Delivery times are subject to change. Due to the nature of what is being delivered, it is known that delivery times may vary, between 5 and 15 working days! 
• We use Followmont Transport, and they do not offer a tracking number on freight items. We can however manually track items, by quoting business addresses. 
• TNT for faster execution can be requested, but usually this will cost more money.

Southport Wreckers offers Mechanical Installation services starting at $700. This includes removal of your old engine, and instllation of your new engine.

• If you purchase an engine with a 30 day advertised warranty, and you have it fitted through us, it increases the warranty to 101 days. 
• If you have any other components like water pumps, alternators, starters motors that youd like to replace whilst we have it appart, we can do that for free (within reason). 
• We recommend changing the timing belt to a new belt whilst you are in there!

In Phase One, a fully certified mechanic does a rounded inspection over the car. This includes a start test, video recording of the car running, inspection documentation and finally a WOVR check for all applicable status’s and vin number may incur.

In Phase Two, another mechanic then proceeds to perform a Test Start of the Engine, All-round inspection of all engine mounts, brackets, wiring looms and plugs to confirm everything is in working order. We also perform a Head gasket Test, with specific equipment that can show results even before the symptoms appear.

In Phase Three, once the sale has been processed and acknowledged within the eBay department, the item is checked over by Lucas (our 10-year experience yard manager). When he gives the go ahead, its photographed, wrapped & sent!
